Opal Riad IX
At the very heart of Marrakech, the ancient medina unfolds as one of the world's most extraordinary living heritage sites. Within its protective walls, centuries of artisan tradition, Islamic architecture and vibrant street life have been preserved with remarkable continuity. The souks are a sensory marvel — copper and brass workshops echo with the sound of hammers, dyers stretch vivid fabrics in the sun, and the air carries the mingled scents of cedar, cumin and rose water. The magnificent Koutoubia Mosque, its minaret a landmark visible across the city, stands just minutes away. At the centre of it all, the mythical Jemaa el-Fna square pulses with energy from dawn until midnight. The medina is not merely a place to live — it is an experience.

Discover Marrakech.
Opal Riad IX sits in Marrakech, where the rose-coloured walls of the Medina enclose a thousand-year-old city of riads, souks and gardens. Each riad is a quiet, courtyard-centred world; a few steps outside, the souks of Djemaa el-Fna and the spice markets carry the city's other rhythm. The Atlas mountains rise on the horizon, the palmeraie to the north, and the new districts of Guéliz and Hivernage extend the cosmopolitan thread westward. Opal Riad IX is anchored inside that geography.
