Safran XI se trouve à Marrakech, où les murailles rose ocre de la Médina enferment une cité millénaire de riads, de souks et de jardins. Chaque riad est un monde silencieux autour d'un patio ; à quelques pas, les souks de Djemaa el-Fna et les marchés aux épices portent l'autre cadence de la ville. L'Atlas s'élève à l'horizon, la palmeraie au nord, et les nouveaux quartiers de Guéliz et d'Hivernage prolongent le fil cosmopolite vers l'ouest. Safran XI s'inscrit dans cette géographie.
